New knife labeling

Starting in 2026, our knives will feature additional, deliberately placed labeling.
A small change—with great significance.

Starting in 2026, every knife that leaves our workshop will feature three additional labels:

the steel designation,
a small animal symbol representing the respective year,
and the year

We are guided by the East Asian zodiac, which is supplemented by an element every two years.
2026 is the year of the horse – more precisely, the fire horse.

The horse stands for movement, strength, and endurance. In combination with the element of fire, it stands for energy, motivation, and determination. These are qualities that also characterize our work: focused, lively, and forward-moving.

This marking makes each knife even more clearly identifiable.

The logo ensures that this knife was manufactured in our workshop and has passed strict quality tests.
The steel designation is important in order to be able to take into account the application properties in the use and care of the knife.
The year and the animal symbol provide information about when the respective knife was completed.

As with a good wine, every year is different, every employee has their own personal signature, and we are constantly developing our manufacturing methods.

With the new signature on our knives, collectors and users can learn even more about their handmade knife.Each of our handmade knives comes with a certificate of authenticity listing the materials used and confirming that it is a knife from our workshop.

This increases the collector's value and potential resale price, turning the knife into a work of art.
