This fully integrated knife brings the world of mythical creatures to life. Mythical creatures have emerged from a wide variety of mythologies and possess numerous facets. They appear in various legends and folklore as bringers of good luck or helpers, but can also take on grotesque forms and appear as enchanted beings.  

As far back as ancient Greece, stories about the unicorn enchanted people, while tales of dragons spread fear and terror. The oldest mythical creature, a “lion-man,” was crafted 40,000 years ago from the tusk of a mammoth. In addition to oral traditions, legends, literature and film, art is the oldest medium for depicting mythical creatures. In this spirit, our Artis Full Integral knife was designed around the theme of mythical creatures and takes you on a fantastic journey of discovery into the world of myths and legends.

Our full-tang knives, with a total length of 235 mm, are made from Böhler N690 steel, and the handle scales are crafted from desert ironwood. Our various mythical creatures (unicorn, elf, dragon, and demon) are sculpted in relief, and their forms have been given a matte finish for better visibility. The 24-karat fine gold inlay further highlights the most important elements of the knife. The knife spine, tang, pommel, and oval elements come together to form a fantastic work of art, perfectly capturing the mystical world of mythical creatures. The handcrafted knife sheath from our leather workshop was modeled after dragon skin and dyed and embossed accordingly.
