The head of the ibex features a yellow gold inlay, adorned with 167 diamonds ranging in size from 1.2 to 2.4 mm. The varying sizes and shapes of the stones highlight the contours and intricate details of the head, such as the eye, the texture of the horns, the beard, and other distinctive features. The placement of the stones was meticulously planned with great care and precision. This results in a densely packed pavé that mirrors the natural facial features of the ibex.
