The Grimm fairy tale "The two brothers" is what inspired us during the creation of our magical Jagdknicker. The story is about two brothers and their enchanted hunting knife.

Inspired by the tale "The two brothers" by the brothers Grimm

The fairy tale is about two brothers, trained by a hunter, who one day decide to set out on a journey. As a parting gift, the master gives each of the two brothers an enchanted, shiny knife. If the brothers should be separated, the magical blade will reveal what has become of the other brother. If one side rusts, then something terrible has befallen the brother; as long as both brothers are alive and well, it remains shiny. When one of the brothers was in grave danger, the other was warned by the changed blade of his knife and was able to save his brother from great misfortune.

Enchanting hunting knife and guide

Our version is a stick tang knife with a handle made of stabilized burl oak, with a total length of 235 mm. The blade is made of 1.2510 steel, which is distinguished by its fine grain, high sharpness, and good re-sharpenability. The non-stainless 1.2510 steel develops a patina over time and symbolizes the characteristics that the blade possesses in the fairy tale. The knife blade features a fine gold inlay and a partially textured surface. The hand guard, featuring a 925 silver inlay, is adorned with a fishscale engraving and set yellow diamonds. At the center of the unique 925 silver pommel sits a fairy-tale-like green sapphire surrounded by ten additional sapphires.
