We are pleased to introduce our second winner of the 2019 Knife of the Year award in the kitchen knife category.

This large kitchen knife, featuring an integral construction, is made from non-stainless torsion damask steel, which was forged specifically for this knife. Due to the knife’s exceptional width, a massive piece of damascus steel was required.

The blade bevel transitions directly into the guard for increased hygienic use. The very thinly honed blade ensures extreme sharpness and allows for easy re-sharpening.
I particularly like the way the Damascus grain flows over the hand guard and the “stars” that appear on the blade due to the bevel grind.
